When Steven Pressfield says “Do the work and the rest will follow” he’s basically dropping some serious truth bombs about how to achieve creative success.

A lot of people think they can just talk about their ideas and aspirations without actually putting in the hard work necessary to make them a reality.

Do the work, not talk about the work.

Put in the hours, not the words.

Don’t post about it, be about it.

Take action.

Build.

You can talk [or post] about your goals and dreams all day, but if you’re not willing to put in the work, you’re never going to get anywhere.

The most important thing about art [work, or anything that matters] is to work. Nothing else matters except sitting down every day trying.

Do the work, not talk about the work.

Get out there and do it. Put in the hours, put in the effort, and watch as your dreams start to become a reality.
