You know what they say if you’re not failing, you’re not trying hard enough. But let’s be real, when you’re in the thick of it, blunders can feel like the end of the world.
Blunders are painful, when you are experiencing them, they feel like the end of your entrepreneurship journey.
Here’s the thing though, blunders are an inevitable part of the entrepreneurship journey. It’s like playing a game of Jenga, you keep building and building until one wrong move and the whole thing comes crashing down.

But the beauty of entrepreneurship is that you can always rebuild. Sure, you might feel like crawling into a hole after a blunder, but take a deep breath and remember that some of the most successful entrepreneurs have had their fair share of blunders.
Let’s take a look at some famous blunders in the entrepreneurial world. Remember Blockbuster? They had the opportunity to buy Netflix for a mere $50 million back in 2000, but they passed on the opportunity. Who’s laughing now? Not Blockbuster, that’s for sure.
Or how about Kodak? They invented the digital camera back in the 1970s but didn’t pursue it because they were afraid it would cannibalise their film business. Fast forward a few decades and Kodak filed for bankruptcy in 2012.
The point is, blunders happen. But it’s how you react to them that determines your success.
Learn from your mistakes, pivot if necessary, and keep pushing forward. And who knows, maybe your blunder will turn into your biggest success story.
Blunders are just part of the game, and the most successful entrepreneurs know how to turn them into opportunities. Now go out there and build that Jenga tower.
