In stoicism, one aims to control one’s emotions and learn to ignore slights without retaliating.

Stoicism is the practical application of emotional acuity.

Not every provocation warrants a reaction from you. You need not let every interaction affect you emotionally.

Stoicism is the art of achieving success through self-assurance, thrift, and kindness. Don’t stress if someone cuts you off on the freeway; it’s not a big deal and you won’t miss your exit anyhow.

Take the high road and ignore or respectfully push back if someone speaks ill of you or to you.

Make a dunk into self-control.

Life happens, it’s going to be okay.
