What’s your attitude when a friend shares something personal with you?

Is it something along the lines of: “yes, me too, let me tell you my take on that story?“

or is your response: “interesting, please tell me more.”

Both of these are essential responses.

The majority of us lean more toward either of these two extremes… However, I would urge us to maintain our focus on growing the latter one.
