To the extent possible, stay focused on what you control.

If you find yourself becoming irritable due to a traffic jam, ask yourself: “Can I control this?”

The key to having peace of mind is being aware of what we can and cannot manage.

If it’s important to you, you should make an effort and work hard to achieve it, but you should also understand the limits of your control.
