It is true that the process is a leading indicator, but this does not guarantee that we are on the correct track.

As a result, we can draw the universally applicable conclusion that when in doubt, use a “and” instead of a “or.”

In order to determine if the process is working, it’s important to keep an eye on the outcome and the process itself.

A good goal and a good system that tells us if we’re making progress should be combined.
