Entrepreneurs always tell me that they started their businesses because they are passionate about the work they are doing.

While I recognise the value of passion, it alone is insufficient.

In high school, you were passionate about your first romantic partner, but what happened to that passionate love?

It didn’t stand the test of time.

Simply having passion is not enough.

To succeed, you’ll need a strong sense of dedication, loyalty, sacrifice and a never-say-die mentality.
