Farmworker with sick wife begged Buddhist monk to pray for his wife.
The priest prayed for God to heal everyone.
Farmworker: “Just a moment. I requested you to pray for my wife, but you’re praying for everyone sick.”
“I prayed for her,” replied the Buddhist.
Farmworker: “No, you prayed for everyone. You might help my sick neighbour, who I don’t like.”
The monk answered: “You don’t understand healing. By praying for everyone, I join the millions praying for the sick.”
These voices reach God and help everyone. Separately, they lose strength and fail.
