Today was my birthday. Instead of being pleased by the celebrations that were going on that day, I found myself thinking about a young boy that I knew, and his name was Ability.

Ability and I shared a birthday, May 24. Ability was always the first to wish me a happy birthday on Facebook and I will then wish him a birthday return.

Early this year, Ability died suddenly as a result of an asthma attack.

Today, there was no birthday message delivered this morning. On the other hand, I went to his wall and posted a message wishing him a heavenly happy birthday.

A good heart and work ethic can leave a lasting impact, I learned from this young man.

No beauty shines brighter than a good heart.
