
There is an art to complaining.
You can throw your toys, scream the loudest and think that that will get you what you want.
Often it may work, but in most instances, people will let you scream alone and thereafter calmly lay the law for you.
The other way, which I think is more effective, is calm down before you complain, acknowledge the great things about the place/situation, and then raise your issue.
Care before candor. Show that you care, and then be honest.
This works all the time.
Make people think and feel that you are on their side, and then ask them to attend to your frustration.
As the taxi guys say: Brush your teeth before you complain.
By the time you complain, you would have calmed down… plush you will have clean teeth and nice breath 🙂
