Her feelings are saying
No matter how many ways she can show me that she and I are the same,
That it is also tough for them to climb up those hills,
Especially when they are wearing their heels,
That it is also rough for them to become doctors,
Especially when they are still doubted as daughters,
How can I claim that they are too soft to own this world, never mind running it?
She could not even recall our moments of happiness,
She told me we never created any moment of happiness,
She told me my actions taught her to never put your happiness in a man,
How is it her fault that I was also born a human being,
But I chose to live like an animal?
Her only fault to me was investing her trust in me,
Hoping that I would see a treasure in her,
Because she tried to fight being trash-treated during her child times,
And yet, she is still frowning in her adult times.
There is a thin line between tough love and love abuse,
My “love In disguise” almost broke her beyond repair,
She had to go through life-threatening situations,
Only to hear me saying I love you.
She said I’m not different from her father who used to violate her physically,
She said I’m not different from her uncle who used to touch her inappropriately,
She said I’m not different from her brother who used to watch her sexually,
As matter of fact, she said I’m all three in one.
I only realised her deep scars when she exposed them,
While packing her bags even though she doesn’t want to leave,
But, her feelings are saying no matter how many ways she can show me that she and I are the same,
It will make no difference
As my mind is already made up
That she and I will never be the same.
