I just finished reading a book on the Titanic titled Titanic: A Captivating Guide to the History of the Unsinkable Ship.

Human beings are very interesting.

When the so-called unsinkable ship hit the iceberg and an assessment was made by Captain Edward Smith and his crew that the ship will sink within 2 hours, it is bizarre how some of the passengers refused to believe the situation.

The Titanic sank on 15 April 1912, over 1,500 people died in the maritime disaster, while 705 individuals survived.

It is amazing how over 100 years later, you still find people who are sceptical of current challenges, even when the truth is unfolding in front of them.

The climate change deniers are no different from the Titanic passengers who denied that the ship will be sinking in 2 hours.

Some people refused the existence of COVID-19 when it all started, attributing the virus to some 5G conspiracy theory or some Western countries’s economic dominance conspiracy theory.

Some of these people lost their lives due to the virus, others lost their loved ones.

Ignorance is not bliss.
