Soothsayer: “Caesar Caesar beware the Ides of March!”

Caesar: “The ides of March are come.”

Soothsayer: “Ay, Caesar; but not gone.”

March 15th = Ides of March. Caesar was stabbed to death by a group of senators in Rome. He was warned days before by the Soothsayer to be careful on the 15th of March.
