There is a difference between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking.

John Spence once said:

“Not every student will become an entrepreneur, but they will all someday need to think like one.”

What COVID-19 has proven is that if we are to survive today’s world, we all need to think entrepreneurially, even as adults.

The future of work brought by the 4IR is going to require us to be entrepreneurial in our thinking.

The challenges brought by climate change is going to require us to be entrepreneurial in our thinking.

Curiosity, resilience, problem solving and agility, are some of the entrepreneurial skills that we all need going forward.

We may not all be entrepreneurs, but we are going to have to be entrepreneurial in our thinking and outlook.

Entrepreneurial thinking is a survival skill.
