Traditional companies, particularly large-scale service and manufacturing businesses are organised for efficiency. Or consistency.

But not joy.

Joy comes from surprise and connection and humanity and transparency and new.

If you fear special requests, if you staff with cogs, if you have to put it all in a manual, then the chances of amazing someone are really quite low.

The greatest shortage in our society is an instinct for businesses to touch humanity inside and connect to the humans in the marketplace.

The greatest irony is when we can’t feed the poor but we can fund a war.

The greatest challenge is we are living in technology that is exponential, but humans are not.

We don’t need more stuff, we need more humanity.
