Earlier today I saw the following electronic advert at the doctor’s notice board encouraging people/businesses to advertise here:

A man wakes up in the morning:

• sleeping in an advertised bed;
• washed with an advertised soap;
• shaves with an advertised razor;
• sits down and consumes advertised coffee and breakfast;
• drives to work in an advertised car; and
• starts writing with an advertised pen.

Then… he refuses to advertise. He says advertising doesn’t pay, but…. When his business fails he finally advertises:

“BUSINESS FOR SALE.”
